Sarat C Das

Sarat C. Das has well over two-and-a-half decades of working career behind him, spanning television broadcasting, print and new media, publishing and teaching in Australia, India, Afghanistan, Nepal, UAE and UK’s higher and further education sector.

Das holds two first degrees including an honours degree in sociology, a post-graduate diploma in journalism, and two master’s degrees – MA in film and television studies from Griffith University (Brisbane, Australia) and an MBA from Plymouth Marjon University, UK (earlier known as St Mark and St John University).

Joydeep Dasgupta

Joydeep is a Kolkata based Multi Media Journalist and Documentary filmmaker with nearly 15 years of experience in Communication Media. He is the Founder of News Sense. Joydeep started his career in New Delhi as a Cartoonist then as Producer and Correspondent with Sahara TV, thereafter as the Station Head of Zee News in Kolkata.

In recognition of his work for highlighting gender issues through Web Journalism, Joydeep was awarded the prestigious United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) supported National Laadli Media and Advertising Award for Gender Sensitivity in the year 2016.

Claude Arpi

Arpi is born in Angoulême (France) in 1949. His real quest started in 1972 with a journey to the Indian Himalayas.

Since then he has been an enthusiastic student of the history of Tibet, China and the subcontinent. After graduating as a Dental Surgeon from Bordeaux University in 1974, he decided to come to India. Claude Arpi regularly writes on the geopolitics of the region, environment and Indo-French relations.

Claude holds the Field Marshal KM Cariappa Chair of Excellence of the United Service Institution of India.

Amit Gupta

Dr Amit Gupta is Associate Professor, Department of Strategy and International Security Studies, US Air Force (USAF) Air War College, Maxwell AFB, Alabama. He worked as Assistant and Associate Professor, Stonehill College from 1997 to 2000, and as Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois from 1995 till 1997.

He was an Instructor at Illinois Wesleyan University for a year in 1994-1995. He is the author of Building an Arsenal (Praeger), and Co-editor with Raju GC Thomas of India’s Nuclear Security (Lynne Rienner). Dr Gupta was educated at the University of Delhi and the Australian National University, and has a PhD from the University of Illinois.

RSN Singh

Colonel RSN Singh is a defence expert and a former military intelligence officer who later served in the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW). He has written several books and has given talks on the Defense Strategy of India. Mr Singh is first person in Indian television to talk about Islamic terrorism and internal threat.

He is author of books ‘Asian Strategic and Military Perspective’ and ‘The Military Factor in Pakistan’. His latest book is ‘The Unmaking of Nepal’.

Ambikanand Sahay

Ambikanand Sahay is the Zonal Editor of Hindustan Samachar, India’s only multi-lingual news agency, based at Lucknow. The agency supplies news content, both print and audio-visual, to different newspapers, TV channels and web platforms.

He is heading the operations of this news-agency in the states of UP & Uttarakhand and Bihar & Jharkhand etc.

Earlier, he was the Special Representative of The Statesman, Resident Editor of Times of India, Lucknow, Executive Vice President of Sahara Media.

Ninad D Sheth
