Misuse or Over Dependence On Technology By Individuals Resorting To Short Cuts.

As per Internet, technology refers to scientific knowledge or emerging developments in scientific practices or trends in a particular industry or a salient activity. Meaning of this significant expression stems from Greek words ‘techne’ , meaning art, craft or skill and ‘logos’ which denotes the discourse or study of so many applications relating to knowledge or practical purposes.

It can be also used, rather being used to add value to a school or college instructional methods, industrial activities or day to day civil or electical constructions.

MAJOR TYPES

It has eight major types : medical, hotel & hospital services, manufacturing, transportation, Energy, Education and office automation.

In a sense, all these encompass software, useful device of computer, Internet ,Cell phones, Smartphones, 5G Networks,Video conferencing, Hospital diagnostic services & equipments, Tele medicine, Bio Technology, Robotics, 3D printing, enhancement of power generation, fast catching electric vehicles etc.

MISUSE OR OVER USE OF TECHNOLOGY

Devices or facilities mentioned above are supposed to extend a certain positive help in solving various problems or responding to challenges of every day life. However, the fact remains that men and women, especially teenagers and youth, have become more lazy and lethargic while taking recourse to applications , such as, Cell phones, personal computers, Lap tops, Internet, E- mails, WhatsApp, Social Media sites etc. As many of these are free of cost, a man or woman tends to become a slave.

Of all the things, in order to tackle the tantrums of tiny tots, young and hi fi kind of parents give tiny Cell phones or similar devices to children and only thereafter, latter listen to parents or have their meals, go to play or proceed to Play Schools or Nursery sessions in Schools.

In the following paragraphs we would see and analyse as to how diverse useful items or activities are being ignored , forgotten or completely side lined owing to advent of silly but in a way, necessary instrument of Cell phone.Thus, key purposes ,such as, enhancing communication, boosting agricultural & industrial productivity, enhancing health care, betterment of education and driving & bolstering economic growth are not getting the prime attention that they deserve.

CHANGED SCENARIO

In the changed or swiftly transformed scenario, radios, transistors, newspapers and magazines have simply disappeared from homes, T.V. remains but is hardly viewed (new generation does not want to see old versions), use of calculator is a thing of past, Cell phone also provides a torch & a mini computer with tremendous memory, letter writing hardly is in practice, cameras, photo studios, Public Call Offices Cinema halls,Theatres and land lines etc are mostly not in use.

Of all the things, the new generation simply does not know the fun and exercise value of street games like Gilli Danda, Ice Pice, Pitto, Jumping games of girls or street Football or Cricket.

An information suggests that many of these activities have now been introduced in Japan.

Plight of Spicy Gossip sessions with friends and peer group has become very prominent. Worst casualty are the useful and fruitful story sessions with elders especially Nana, Nani, or Dadi or Dada Jee kind.

Last but not the least, reading of books rather loudly and live Music & Dance concerts are very few, rather, they are also on gradual decline.

IMPACT OF MIDDLE EAST WAR

Not to be forgotten, the Middle East war is lingering on and on without any solution since 28th February. Thousands have died and got grievous injuries. It includes Indians also.

If President Trump says something or the other, that is reinterpreted rightly or wrongly by Marco Rubio, his schrewed Secretary of State or Benjamin Netatnyahu, the Israeli P.M. & most dangerous man around. How many of us know that latter to escape prosecution and fierce criticism in his own country is keeping the problem alive ?

AND if provoked further, Iran is likely to cut optic fibre lines passing through Strait of Hormuz. It will bring tremendous worry to the pampered ON LINE customers & shop keepers of India. It is high time, therefore, they woke up from slumber and be ready with a contingency plan.

Let us not forget that Geo political issues not only emanated but perpetrated by Super power rivalry are capable of leaving a deep scar or impact over Geo Economics of the entire world. As such, unreasonable raising of tariffs by U.S.A.was playing havoc in many countries.

Process has begun in a big way, it is a different thing that requisite realisation by human beings is not taking place. Partly, Governments of the day may ALSO have to be blamed.

PUNCH LINE

Rapid, at times, avoidable dependence of human beings on Cell phones, On line purchases, Internet Banking, activities aided by Cells in hospitals, factories, offices aerodromes, Rail & Road transportation services etc may have to be cut down or reduced.

Restricted or ignored or forgotten human interactions too need to be restored to bring semblance of control and order in society. Same may reduce incidence of social deviance and crime situations as well. If face to face situation is not possible, is it not desirable to shorten our interaction or chat ? Will heaven fall if we talk less and work more ?

IF HEAVEN FALLS , LET IT FALL.

IN THE CHANGED TEMPORARY SCENARIO, ONE SUPPOSES, WE WILL BE MORE FOCUSED AND CHEERFUL.

OUR RELATION WITH NEIGHBOURS & RELATIVES WILL ALSO RECORD AN IMPROVEMENT TREMENDOUSLY.
